Free refills at Rancho Del Zocalo

I'm reading a blog talking about ways to save money at Disneyland....and one of the suggestions is that if you buy a drink at Rancho Del Zocalo you can get refills all day.

Is this true? Do you just need to show your receipt or do you have to drag your cup around with you all day.

If it's true...anyone know how long it's been so? Can't believe that I missed something like this, lol.

You get refills as long as your sitting there eating, it's not all day.

and actually the last time they said at the register that I got one free refill, so they are making an attempt at limiting it, but I got 2 anyway.

They are not unlimited refills. You can get 1 refill while you are there eating and yes they will ask to see your receipt when you go in for your refill. All CS places are like that, 1 refill is the limit.

Thanks everyone, I thought that sounded a little "too good to be true"...that would have meant an unending drink for what $2something. But...the one refill rule is also something I wasn't aware of....we usually bring in our own water instead of soda, but if it was refills all day....well, it's not so we'll keep drinking our water, lol.

We drink water all day too but Rancho has Cherry Coke so I get one. The kids meals come with a drink as well. So yes, when we eat at Rancho I have 2 Cherry Cokes, my fave!!! lol

I know you can at Rancho, Pizza Port, and the French Market. I think it's pretty much where ever you actually fill your own cup.

I've also received a refill at Hungry Bear and over in DCA at Award Weiners, TPG & Cocina Cucamonga. Not always for me per se but DBF almost always gets a soda with his meal so he'll get a refill before we leave the restaurant area. Even if you have to ask someone to refill your cup you can get the refill without a problem, just keep your receipt in case they ask.

All these times I've been to DL over the years and I never knew I could have gotten a free refill for my drink!
