I had lunch at Akershus a few years ago with some friends and I remember them getting a free print of a photo we took with one of the princesses. I am having DD's birthday party there in a few weeks and I want to get a photo mat for all the princesses to sign and put her photo in it. What size is the included photo?

You will get an 8x10 and 4 - 4 x 6 prints of your group with Belle that is taken when you first enter the restaurant before being shown to your table.

IN January we got 4 4x6s and one 6x8 in a folder frame which cane be put into an 8x10 frame. (But without using the border frame it can be a challenge to find a frame to put the oddly sized photo in.

Photo packages at restaurants, including Akershus, include a 6x8 and four 4x6 pictures. It drives me nuts that they're 6x8 since the only frames you can find for sale at WDW are 5x7 and 8x10. You'd think they'd sell a 6x8 or at least a frame with a 6x8 mat inside.

Anyway, you'll want a mat for a 6x8 picture. Hopefully that's not too hard to find at home before you go.

It's included in the meal price. You get 1 photo package for up to 4 people, and 2 packages for 4-8.

It's included with the price of your meal. Your meal is more expensive partly because the photo is included so while you're not paying anything above the price of your meal to get the photo, I have trouble calling it free if that makes sense.

Short answer: You don't pay anything additional for the photo.

I believe the princesses change regularly...we had Aurora when we went.

The princess out front does not change regularly. The majority of the time you'll be greeted by Belle but occasionally she won't be at the restaurant and you'll have a different princess out front. I'm not sure if the alternate is always Aurora or not but she's who we got as well the one time it wasn't Belle.

The photo itself is 6x8, the mat is about 8x10 and the whole folder is just shy of 8 and a half x 11.
