Hi all! So, I stopped by the front desk 2-3 times and asked for the box at POR. And then walked over to POFQ and asked for the box.
We weren't able to locate it. I still have not heard from the family before ours, so not sure what happened to it.
That said, I got another cardboard box from a store at Downtown Disney and started to load it up with a few of our items from our trip. But the wife, who has a better nose than me, that the box smelled liked baby powder (it came from the bath products store at DTD).
So, I got a different box from Fulton's General Store (broken down) and borrowed some tape and scissors from the front desk and started a new box.
There ain't much in it. Here is what I remember I put in it.
- 2 ponchos decorated with stylish canadian maple leafs
- 1 glass coffee cup accidentally taken from a coffee shop at Londsdale Square in North Vancouver, BC
- 1 packet of coffee filters (we brought good coffee from Vancouver, Ethical Bean)
- 1 beer (a wheat beer with lime)
- 1 packet of glow sticks from a dollar store. Not all the ones we used lit up!
- 1 set of touring plans from the Unofficial guide for WDW plus Universal from the back of the book
- A bunch of plastic shopping bags from our trip to
Walmart for snacks
- A collection of unopened snacks
There's room in the box for more stuff, I hope that you are able to use some of the items we left, and add more to it. And maybe the first box'll turn up and they can be combined.
I left it for the next guest at the POR check in desk. They took the person's reservation number and name and put a note into their record, but just to be safe, ask for it too.
