Free Parking ???

Do you get free parking with DDE if your going to a resort for a meal?? Does the Dolphin participate in DDE?? I also read your entitled to free valet parking if you have a handicap permit, is this true?

Parking at a resort is always free if you are staying there or have a PS at that resort.

Neither The Swan nor the Dolphin participate in DDE.

I don't know the answer to your valet parking question.

Complimentary parking is for guests entering a park for a short period for the purpose of dining only. Guests pay the parking fee at a toll booth. After dining they need to go to Guest Relations and present the meal and parking receipts. The parking will be refunded.
When going to a resort to eat, just tell the security at the entrance booth you are eating at (restaurant name). They MAY ask you for a dining reservation number. If you don't have it, they may not allow you to enter.
We have had them require the PS number while special events are on, or during holidays.
Security may give you a ticket to place on your car dashboard. They generally allow three hours time of parking.
I am sure DDE members get free valet parking. Just make sure to tip.
And yes, handicap parking does allow free valet parking too at the Disney resorts. (I don't know about S/D.)
We have not used valet parking, so can't help you on that.
And the S/D does not participate in DDE.

The only resort we have ever been asked for PS number is CR for Chef Mickey. They even checked our name agains a list. They then give a parking pass good for 2 or 3 hours. We did not have any problems parking at either GF or BC

We just got back yesterday & had a PS @ O'Hana's one night when we weren't in the park & we did not pay for parking. At the toll booth we just said we were eating @ O'Hana's and they waved us in, we didn't give any money. We also went to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue & it was the same way, they just waved us through.

We have been to most all resorts to dine using our DDE.never paid for valet but used it each time....

anytime we have come in to a park late that we had dinner reservations, the CM waved us on.

With DDE you get free valet parking at the resorts as long as you eat dinner there. They have never checked for a receipt but I am guessing they can tell by how long you were there.

Yes, you are also able to get free valet parking with a handicap tag.

I don't think parking is free even for the guests who stay at the Swan or Dolphin.

At the Swan and Dolphin, you can get your parking validated if you eat at Shula's, bluezoo, or Palio. Just ask the server.
