Just wondering, any chance you get free parking the day you check out of a Disney Resort?

You are a guest of that resort until midnight of the day you check out. Even if you check out.

Husband and I have been married a long time (just celebrated 34 years) and been to Disney over 60 times. Classic moment. We checked out of Pop Century around 9 and were going to go to Epcot for one last look around at the Food and Wine Festival before going onto Daytona Beach. We hadn't discussed anything but when we left the room for the last time (everything was packed into the car - we drive from Georgia), I headed for the bus and he headed for the parking lot. I looked at him like he was crazy and he did the same to me. Then he slapped himself on the head (literally and some people walking laughed) and said "that's right! we are here until midnight! we don't have to move!" At that point, *I* busted out laughing and so did he. We were still laughing when we arrived at Epcot.
