free parking with magic band and valid park ticket beyond hotel stay?

We are staying for 5 nights at Disney's POR, and have 6 day tickets (purchased separately - Undercover Tourist) which we will have attached to our account. Following our 5 night land portion, we are on a 3 night cruise on the Dream! We initially got the 6th day ticket in case we wanted to try to hit a park or in-park breakfast the morning we go to start our cruise. Now it looks like it we'd like to try to get to the port early. But we might have time to try to visit a park the day we come back from our cruise, as our plane doesn't leave until late afternoon.
My understanding is that our tickets are good for 14 days from the first day of use, so they will still be valid to use on that 9th day, correct? And they will still work via our magic bands?
My question is will we still be considered Disney resort guests and get free parking at the parks?

My understanding is no, you aren't resort guests. Entitlements on a resort stay are good until midnight of the day you check out. You check out of the resort to take the cruise so you are no longer a resort guest.

2. Magic bands are just a means to access what's in your MDE account - they're not tied to your resort stay.
