Free meal plan? When?

Hi everyone! I am wondering when Disney usually posts the free meal plan offer? I am itching to get back to WDW, but trying to make things as economical as possible. Just wondering...

I spoke with a cast member at the reservation number yesterday and she told me they will not offer any more free dining this year, that you had to book it last year. BoooHooo

I received a PIN postcard in march from wDW which offered Free Dining for summer reservations but we had to book by the end of April. A value or moderate received the counter service plan and a deluxe resort free dining plan. You could pay the difference and upgrade your meal plan if you'd like.

Are you registered with WDW to receive mailings?

Yep I got a pin on 3/3 in my email for free dinning. Call and give them your email and ask if there is a pin associated to it. You might have one that you don't know about.

They had already offered it..You had to book it by 12/20/10 and it was for dates thru Sept 2011.Certain people also got personal specific pincode offers for it, but it was tiered.With the pin offer I got ,you had to book deluxe or higher to get the basic plan, Value and Mods got the CS plan free

We booked last fall for 9 days at WDW on June 24th this year. My sister-in-law booked this past weekend for June 21st and received free dining -CSP. What gives? I called and was told that Disney randomly sends out e-mail pins for upgrades - in this case a free dining plan. I'm happy for them but for us, well, it's disappointing.

I keep getting a pincode for free dining available until august 13, 2011 but alas my trip isn't until October 6-9th.
