Well, it's still being advertised as of the June 20th sailing on the Fantasy. 50MB, must sign up by midnight the first day, one plan per room (sharable by all in room). Is DCL still running the 25mb free try, or was it 50mb.... for trying out the internet? I know you have to sign up the first day of the cruise.
Thanks
Chris

I can bring you up to date we had it on our recent Magic cruise in August. 50 MB one per stateroom first day only.Is DCL still running the 25mb free try, or was it 50mb.... for trying out the internet? I know you have to sign up the first day of the cruise.
Thanks

Great advice here.50MB, free, must sign up the first day, and you can't overrun and cost yourself anything accidentally - it will just quit when you get to 50MB and ask you if you want to sign up for a paid plan.
You can probably find a number of threads with advice on what to turn off to make sure you don't accidentally use up your data plan with wifi updates, photo transfers, etc. But, it's different for each phone system, and it's possible you might miss something (for example, automatic app updates). Unless you find a trustworthy thread with complete info, I really suggest you just stop by the internet desk and ask the person there to look at your device to be sure everything is turned off that needs to be. My experience is they are very good, fast, friendly, everything you could want. Get it done quickly and then on your way enjoying your first day!
Yes.You can use it any time in the cruise but must sign up before 12am/midnight on the first day
We had it on our July 25th sailing on the Fantasy. I forgot to tell my husband to sign out of it each time and we burned through 15 MB on the first day...oops.
The remaining MB just barely lasted us to the end of the cruise (we had work going on in our house while we were gone so I wanted to be able to check my email once or twice a day in case something happened...I was also stupid and opened Instagram once. Easy way to waste 7MB!).

We opted to bring the laptop with us so we could move pictures throughout the cruise. This allowed us to use our phones for the Navigator app without worrying about accidentally using data (unless you sign up on your phone, you can't use the internet other than the app.) We then just used the laptop for our email checks etc.
