We are staying at the Contemporary for three nights (view of the Castle) and then switching to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for two nights (view of the animals). We are very excited.
We stayed at the Boardwalk. We were lucky enough to have our comp night (and the rest of the our stay) upgraded to a garden suite. I love the whole Epcot resort area and would highly reccomend staying there.
If you have a custom wedding you have to guarantee a minimum amount of nights in a Disney Hotel. If you have upto 40 guests i think it is 25 room nights. Once you meet this minimum you get a free night at any disney hotel!
We choose the GF too having the same attitude! Did you like it? Did they do anything special to your room for that night? Could you see the castle..ect..
We chose the Contemporary because we will be staying there for the 2 nights before our wedding and our reception is at the California Grill. It just seemed like the easiest place. Plus, I LOVE the new rooms!! Here is my question...
We will be staying in a garden room for 2 nights prior to the wedding and about 4 or 5 nights after. For our wedding night we're getting a tower concierge room. How are we going to check out, check back in, move all our stuff, and then move it all again the next day when it's our wedding day? It seems like it's going to be difficult. Maybe they'll sprinkle a little pixie dust on us and let us have the tower room the whole time
