I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, because it isn't really a resort discount question, but here goes. In regards to the promo with the free Park hopper and water parks and more option, is it only good for the number of nights you are staying, or can you pay the difference and upgrade it to a 10-day with no expiry? Surely you can't do this, but then with the water parks and more option, those are add-on days, right? So if you got a 5 day ticket, you could actually use it for 8 days, 5 at the parks and 3 at the water parks, right? If I plan on spending one day at the water parks, do I then buy just a 4 day pass? Or, if I book a trip for 5 nights, with this deal, could I pay the difference of the base ticket for 10 days, and add no expiry, and end up with a 10 day park hopper water parks and more no expiry ticket?

I think you can. Call and check, but I have looked at it online and found a screen where it allows you to increase the number of days. When you increase it for more days than your stay, it prompts you and asks if you want to chenage the number of days stay. As long as you add the no-expiration option, (which is pricey, $150-160 for each adult ticket), I think the tickets are good forever.

There is so little difference between a 4 or 5 day ticket and the ten day ticket, this is not a bad way to go if you think you might not use all your days, say have a resort day or just sleep in and go to DD.

Yes, you can do this. We're going in May and using the ticket upgrade promotion. We're staying onsite only 4 nights and renting a vacation home for a week so we purchased the 10-day base ticket. I haven't decided yet if we're going to add the no expiration option; depends if we have any days left.

Absolutely ok to do! We went last year for a quick trip in May, bought a 5 day (w/ free park hopper & water parks and more) only used 4 days in the parks, then we upgraded to a 10 day w/ no expiration and that is what we are using next week. Far cheaper than buying another pass this year and we did check before doing it, not a problem. Go for it!

You can add any upgrade to a ticket within 14 days of it's first use, even if you have used all the days. As long as it is within 14 days. And yes if you have a 4 day ticket with 3 waterpark days you can go to 4 days in the park and then 3 days in the waterpark giving you 7 days worth of use. If you go to a park and a waterpark in the same day it will take 1 park day and 1 waterpark day off your ticket.

Wow, that's great! Thank you everyone for your responses! You've made my day!!! :cool1:
