I just got back and got to use our fridge...thanks abc999! I brought tape w/ me, but after taping the box all up and adding the next swappers name, the tape remained on the outside of the box (of course.....how could I tape it w/ the tape inside?!) so, you still need tape in the box.

Worked out great. We shut the fridge off and unplugged it on Friday morning and left a note for mousekeeping to leave the fridge door open. That night we cleaned it all up, taped up the box, added the next swappers name then brought it back to luggage services so we wouldn't have to deal w/ it this morning (DME picked us up at 7:45am).

Sounds good! Kind of dumb question, but is there a specific color of tape that is still being used in order to identify the box (I think it was red at one time) or will whatever I grab to bring with work? Anything else you can think of that is needed? Glad you had a great trip!

No special tape. It was clear when I got it and I used clear, too.

It has a 5c coffee maker and for now there are plenty of filters. there's a toaster and also a small icecube tray. There are wipes w/ it and a small canister w/ some coffee in it (we used our own though). We brought a pkg of disposable cups w/ covers so that we could go to the bus stop w/ coffee then chuck the cup. We left a couple behind. Just bring your coffee, sugar and you're all set. We ordered some creamer (among other things) from Garden Grocer. PS--if you do this, make sure LS checks the fridge for your stuff. When LS delivered my groceries for me I realized I was missing a whole bunch of stuff, then it dawned on me it was all cold items. That bag was put in a fridge in LS.

Meanwhile, Pop gave one of our swappers a fridge that doesn't belong to us. I have a feeling that they gave our fridge to another fridge swap group.

I have asked our swapper who is currently at Pop to take a picture of the fridge and box that she has in the hopes that we can find it's true owner. Did you check with the Hopping at the POP swap. I think they had a fridge get switched for a different size fridge that didn't belong with them a while back. I think it was before September though.

Just got back from Disney last night. I can't believe our trip is already over. Got the fridge from luggage services (thanks Clupaczyk) and it worked great! Amelia777 and I were even able to arrange a face to face swap so I'm sure she is now enjoying it. Thanks JeMarie6 for all your work in keeping the swap going!
