I hope you got my message. Picked up the fridge last week, no problems but the box is taking a beating.

We really need duct tape! I would suggest everyone bring some for re-packing the box on your last day.

When you get it, someone has cut bottom of the box on all four sides so once you get the tape off you just slide the whole box off from the top. Sorry I did not have any tape with me to reinforce the box...

Also I am really sorry but packaged the whole thing without the dish soap. Sorry everyone, I had no tape left to open up and put back in.

The fridge came in real handy! Hope everyone has a good trip.

I did get your message but not until today. We were gone yesterday to Adventureland (Iowa's version of an amusement park). It was fun and gave us a taste of how the kids would fare at Disney. They did well from about 10:00am - 8:00pm and then we had our first melt down. But we knew they were getting tired, so we should be able to judge our disney days pretty well. Glad to hear everything went well and I will try to spread the word about the duct tape and/or packing tape being needed.

PoohDRMR has a face-to-face swap set up, but will bring along some tape just in case. However, it might be best for everyone to plan on bringing tape along to reseal the box after each use.

I think the box will be ok, you just need heavy duty tape and more then just a little.

The bottom of the big box needs to be taped all along the bottom edge. Like I said someone used a razor to cut the whole bottom (flat part) off so you can just pull the box off the refridgerator and then slide back on and tape the bottom of the box to the bottom of the flat part...make sense?

Hey everyone I am back from the world and the fridge came in very handy.We went through over 2 cases of water(I am pregnant so I had to stay hydrated)and had lots of milk and yogurt.The box was really bad-I had brought a roll of packing tape with me so I put lots on it but the way the box had been cut open along the bottom really has weakened it.I checked it into luggage because the next swapper was going to be at a park when I was back at the hotel and it was really easy-We called down to luggage and told them what we had and asked for a claim ticket and they brought it with them to the room.I left the ticket at the front desk-I hope everything was good on the retreival.I also left a container of clorox wipes in the box to keep it clean.

Thanks for checking in! Glad it worked out for you. I will be there soon (10 days!), do you think we need to consider just ditching the box? We are flying and haven't heard from anyone driving down who might be able to provide a replacement box.
