FREE GREEN & PINK Pop Fridge Swap - Timeslots available in Fall/Winter 2009

Just returned from Pop yesterday . Got the fridge from the swapper before me with no problems. And left it in LS for the next swapper yesterday morning. She checked in last night and I have the LS cast member a tip and asked that they put the fridge somewhere where it'll be easily accessible since the next swapper checked in that evening.

A couple of notes about the fridge:
Worked great! It did have the hot pink paper on the sides that said "Pink fridge". It was a black fridge with a small freezer compartment at the top. Also had the white coffee maker.

I did notice that the place to tape the next person's info. was on the top of the box. That's probably why it got lost. LS sometimes stacks boxes so in the future it would probably be best to put the info. on the side of the box. I put the next swapper's info on the top and side of the box.

The box has seen better days. It is not in the best shape. I did use the clear packing tape that a previous swapper had left to reinforce the box a little more, but not sure how much that helped.

Anyway, just wanted to check it. It was great having a fridge for our stay! Thanks again!

Hello swappers!

I coordinate a Pop Fridge Swap (#2) on the TourGuideMike forums. It seems that our fridge (and enclosed coffeepot, etc.) went missing in September and I'm trying to track it down. Meanwhile, Pop gave one of our swappers a fridge that doesn't belong to us. I have a feeling that they gave our fridge to another fridge swap group.

I have asked our swapper who is currently at Pop to take a picture of the fridge and box that she has in the hopes that we can find it's true owner. A picture of our fridge box is my avatar over there to the left. If anyone has seen the fridge, could you please, please contact me so that we can get our swap going again?

Just wanted to check in post trip. The pink fridge worked great. It does seem to run really cold, and is missing the front left leveler. We used the top of a water bottle to level the fridge. Everyone in my party really appreciated the really cold water as it was in the 90s everyday.

While bringing the fridge to our room we ran into Squirrel (fellow DISer) at the pool who had the green fridge at the time. She took a look at the box, and believed that the fridge we have is the original Pink Pop fridge. The box was still partially covered in pink paper, and was labeled PINK POP. I meant to take pictures, but ran out of time.

Just wanted to thank everyone for keeping this swap going. It sure was a huge savings for my family.

I"m back

The green fridge is in storage for the next swapper. I have the claim ticket if needed. It was working great. I left the coffee pot with some basket filters and some coffee. I also placed two bowls in the box.

Hopefully the pink fridge will not go missing again. The pink fridge is the same as the green one (black with an aluminum front).

Finally, I have attached two pictures below that my fiance and I took of the PINK Pop fridge when we had it last month. He was glad to hear that the roll of tape we threw in seems to be helping; the box seemed little weak, so it's important to use such strong tape to keep the lid shut.

I encourage you to take copies of these pictures with you in case the fridge goes missing.
It could help if a cast member needs to look for it again!

I am picking up the green fridge in 5 days and have not received any replies from the moderator (Politzania) or the person who I will turn it over to (PuNkEe1299). I have made contact with DaughteroftheKing to pick it up on this Friday.

I do not want this swap to die, but I need people to reply to my repeated PMs or I will have no one to give it to. I leave on Thursday, so we have some time.

Hello! We're back for more - our third time!!

We are having a family gathering at Walt Disney World, and we will need both the Pink AND Green fridges from March 31st to April 7th.

Hopefully both fridges are available and "found" at that time.
