Green Fridge update _

We enjoyed using the fridge and left it for the next user yesterday.

It is in a box and maybe the next person (after the ones who has it now...) could take an almost used up roll of duct or other strong tape - the box could use some reinforcement.

Also, wanted folks to know it DOES have what appears to be a brand new coffee maker in it! (Wish we'd known, coffee would have been great ....so pack up some coffee and filters! )

Thanks for organizing this - it was a nice treat to have cold drinks, etc.

Just saw the question about the coffee filters. We didnt know there was a coffe maker so we didnt bring cofee, so we didnt use it ( ) - so....dont know what kind it takes. Seems like a lot of newer ones, which it is, use the 'basket' type. Maybe one of the more recent users can report back on that.

Just wanted to post an update about the fridges. We just got back tonight, and the green fridge worked great and had no problems getting it from luggage services. Still in green box with coffee maker. We were unable to find the pink fridge. I've PM'd Politzania with more details, but luggage services was never able to find the fridge, so hopefully it's found soon for all future pink fridge swappers. Thanks again Politzania for all you do for us. It really helped having a fridge for our week.

I have two different types of filters at home-cone shaped for 12 cup and a flat bottom/basket shape for a 12 cup. I guess I will bring some of both-Not sure I will even make coffee.

Hi Pink Fridge Friends,

We are headed out to WDW tonight, and I just caught up with this thread. My family is signed up for the Pink fridge from September 18-27th.

We will have them look for the fridge at Pop Century, so please let me know if there is anything in particular I can ask them to look out for... We are really counting on this fridge to store our drinks for our ten-day trip.

Sorry I haven't been back - another busy week at work & home:

Pink Fridge - I emailed w/minniemeplus3/Deidre before she left on the 12th & she was going to see if she could locate it. Haven't heard from her since, so not sure if she was successful. I also e-mailed disney fan 2013 to see if she had a claim number & confirm who she left the fridge for.
mtomlin66 sent me a PM suggesting that we put swapper info on the side or front of the fridge (maybe both, even!) to make it easier for luggage services to locate the fridge. I'll make sure to check back on this thread over the weekend to see if we have any good news. In the meanwhile, Pink fridge swappers may want to make alternate plans...

What kind of box does your pink fridge come in? I just left from pop and had a fridge that was not mine. i texted the number on the fridge and could not reach anyone. My swap leader was trying to track down the fridge leader but I did not hear back so I am assuming that she had no luck either. I really didnt want to put it back into luggage services without a name
Please let me know and maybe I can help locate the fridge

Does anyone have a picture of the box for the Pink fridge? What does it look like on the outside? Any details could be helpful in locating it.

Unless the box changed from last year it had a bright neon pink paper on the sides, just like the green neon for the green fridge.
