Free gift card promo

It really depends on when you want to go, where you want to stay and the size of your travel party. The gift card promo is a good deal for those staying between now and the begining of June. You would have to run the numbers for your family at the resort that you want to stay at and compare it to the room discounts currently available.
Free Dining is the best *value* if you want to stay at a value in Aug or Sept (pending the annoucement that they are going to even have it again this year, and what the dates will be).
A PIN code is a great deal because the dates cover most of 2010. The 40% off PIN is a wonderful deal for those of use who want to stay at a Deluxe later in the year.
Hope that helps! :)

Does the pin cover room only or does it cover tickets?

I ran the numbers on the gift card promo and it's good that you get the $$$ to spend how you like (food) but I don't like that you have to have 5 park days, although I guess we could save some for when we have to go back in December, if that is possible.

The PIN is a room only discount. You can add tickets and dining to your reservation, but they will be at full price. If you buy the 5 day ticket to take advantage of the gift card offer, I think, the only way you would be able to use those tickets at a later time (december) is to add the non-expiration option to your tickets and I honestly have no idea what that cost is. There is a 'sticky' on the theme parks boards that has any and all information you need on tickets. I have never added the non-expiration option to our tickets, but I am sure the specific pricing is there.
HTH:)

I asked about the tickets and the CM went to a manager. As long as the Ticket is not activated, you don't have to have non expiry on it. You do have to use it within 12 months. That is what was said to me. We have Annual passes. The 5 day ticket killed the deal for me. Just can't do it.

Yes, not very good if you have an AP. If it were only one day passes, like we had in May for free $500 giftcards with a 5 day booking at ANY resort. We booked 2 rooms at ASMu and got 2 $500 giftcards. We got 1 day passes. Two of us had APs so we kept our tickets, my son used one of the $500 towards upgrading his 1 day pass to an AP (also used the passalong 10% off) That giftcard was a really great deal especially on a Value!
