free gift card from disney holidays - help!

I'm about to pay off my balance (gulp) and realised on the booking form it mentions the free dining plan but not the gift card (we booked a flight inclusive package so got a free $300 card).

Should I be worried or is this normal? (I just know ringing them will result in a very long call and probably no resolution!!)

Somebody else had this on here a week or so back and rang them and it was fine. What I would do is phone them and then ask them to email you to confirm that it is in order so you can print out the email and present it at check in if need be

I booked through VH and got the $300 gift card, I emailed them and they said they have everyone flagged on their system and we will recieve the gift card from a VH rep at the airport.

I have kept the email in case anything goes wrong!

For something like a $300 gift card missing of their documentation i would definatly call them. Their paper work is usually very comprehensive when it comes to listing all the Magical Extras you get and your card should certainly be there.

Yeah I posted a thread about this last week I think as Virgin holidays are doing the same offer.

I have now ripped the page out of the holiday brochure with the terms and conditions on and will take it just incase but it seems that its not mentioned on anyones invoice so we will all be in the same boat.

I am sure we will get it otherwise they will just have to deal with a long queue of very angry people and I am sure that is not something that they will want

I am only taking the brochure for peace of mind as my booking rep advised me too just in case

It is mentioned on Disney Holidays own invoices , i have one in front of me just now. Is it just Virgin Holidays invoices this gift card does not appear on?
If thats the case i would be wanting something in writing from Virgin to confirm you are getting it.

We have just booked with Disney and the invice they emailed across shows the current $150 gift card offer. It might be worth digging out the original invoice and seeing what it says. Failing that i would call then and get them to confirm you are due a $300 gift card in writing.

strangely I only emailed them recently and got a reply a couple of days ago to say Yes I am getting the $300 gift card. I emailed them the piece of information re their offer and the fact I complied with all the conditions. I just wanted it in black and white so I had comeback if it all went wrong (ye of little faith!!LOL) So along with the free dining (the qsdp suits us the best) we now also have an extra $300 to splash out on whatever we want...RESULT!

Got a reply from virgin today saying its is on my booking and I will get it. they said I will get all the information about getting it with my tickets.

I rang Disney Travel today ... they said it was on my booking so they didn't know why it wasn't on the invoice but they'd reissue the invoice with it on so I'm happy!
