Hi All..does anyone know where to find a form for a will? I tried to research it on the computer, but it seems like they all want some kind of $ charge to let you have the form. My husband has to redo his...and I've made the changes and retyped it, but there's several pages of things that there are no changes to..and I don't want to take all the time to type them over...I especially need the last few pages that have the signatures of the witnesses. I'd appreciate any help you can give us! Thanks from Texas..Barb

Since state laws about Probate and estates vary from state to state I wouldn't take a chance on a free on-line form. I'd scan and reprint the pages without any changes or re-type them. I used to work in a law office that did some probate work and we had several wills that didn't comply with our state laws that came from some type of kit. Since they didn't comply they weren't valid. I wouldn't want to take that chance.

You can go to your local office supply store (staples for sure has them) and buy the will package. It's not very costly. Fill everything out and then you can have it notarized or what now.
Alot of attorneys that I know actually tell their clients to do this....it saves a lot of money!

A lot of attorneys I have worked with advise that preform wills cannot cover all state laws, his, hers, and ours, etc., etc., and sometimes are worse than no will.

Make sure you have a living revocable trust for assets like your house. A will just isn't good enough, according to several of the Suze Orman books. If it goes to probate, you'll have to have attorneys and costs that will be incured.
