Free Disney Dining Plan?

In the past, they announce FD in April, for travel end of aug- end of Sept. Then usually later add various dates through the end of the year.

I'm planning a trip in June when they typically do not have a public free dining promotion but I was reading on the resort board that people were getting a free dining pin in the mail. when I called to book my trip a few weeks ago it turned out I had the pin attached to my name as well!

So regardless of when you'll be going you should call and ask if there is a discount pin for you.

I have a pin code for free dining that is good until the end of December with some black-out dates. I chose to book a room-only reservation with the 30% off discount instead because we may have to cancel the trip. I can easily get a refund on the room-only ressie, but not a package with free dining. The pin code is good all year though so if we do postpone the trip and can work it in before the end of the year (doubtful, but ya never know), then we may use it.

I called Disney reservations and asked if I had a pin code attached to my name and I did, yet I had never received an email or letter about it. Then about a week later, I got a cardboard tri-fold "Game On" pin code in the mail for a different free dining offer that is only good for CS meals and expires at the end of May.

So yes, they are out there.

There is a rumor that a new promo is coming out March 1. Don't know if it will be free dining or what, but keep your ears open!!
