I booked a 2 night stay at the Sequoia Lodge via Expedia UK and it came with Free Disney Dining plan. There are no details of which dining plan is included or how it works.

I am quite clueless as to which specific plan I will receive. The confirmation states: Standard Room - incl 1 Ticket p.person p.day Includes: Continental Breakfast Free Parking, Free Disney Dining Plan

TIA!:cool1:

First time out of the United States ever and I had to do 2 days at DLP for good measure.

which dates have you booked for? DLP is offering free half board dining on selected dates at the moment, so that may be what you get through Expedia.

What I would say though is this (having been there and done it with Expedia and their DLP meal plan offers in the past) check your booking confirmation very carefully. If your individual booking confirmation says you have the free dining plan, (at the Sequoia Lodge its half board plus, rules etc are in the DLP brochure), then thats fine. Please check you have this on your booking confirmation. Have you booked a hotel/park tickets package through Expedia?

I booked July 8th-10th. The individual booking and confirmation email both have Free Disney Dining plan in the details.

I booked this option, it also had an option without the dining plan available for less money.

forgive me, that doesn't sound like its a free dining plan then? I mean if you paid more money for it?

Have you had a look on the official DLP site (change the country to UK) to see what they are selling the same hotel and same dates for?

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting.

If I booked through Expedia and received the free half board standard meal plan and want to upgrade to plus, is that possible? Who do I contact?

Thank you!

Don't upgrade a free dining plan - because you'll pay full price for the upgraded plan, which completely negates the saving you made on your booking in the first place, which includes a standard plan for free.

Just use your standard plan vouchers at face value in plus restaurants if you want to, you'll still be saving money that way :).

They won't let you just pay the difference?

And can you still pay for the prie fix menus that the restaurants have for the plus vouchers?

No you can't pay the difference to upgrade as you got them on an offer whereas upgrading won't have any offers.

You can order what you like with the vouchers you have and just pay the difference in value of the voucher and total cost

After reading your post I went to UK expedia (although I live in Atlanta) to see if I could find a deal like yours but it wouldn't even let me price the DLP onsite hotels, saying they were booked full. How did you find your deal? :confused3

They booked there last May so it won't have the free dining. When are you looking at booking for?
