Do they have an option to do the QSDP but stay at a moderate resort under the FD for September? We prefer the two snacks + two CS meals + mug.

You can not downgrade the promo. So, if the deal is to get free DDP at a moderate, you won't be able to choose the QSDP.

It really is too bad that you can't have the plan that you want...ie: mod resort and QSDP. We would be really happy with that. We wanted to try the QSDP this year so but we wanted to go back to POFQ....oh well, it's back to ASMu for us.

Seems a little odd that WDW wants to spend more money on your food instead of less. :confused3 I would really love to hear if anyone has a theory/explanation on that.

I was thinking about doing a surprise resort upgrade from POP to a moderate, but don't want to fool with TS reservations. I find it much easier to deal with the flexibility that CS meals allow (eating when you feel like it and whatever your in the mood for that day). Oh well, we'll still enjoy our trip all the same.

That's exactly why we want to try the QSDP. It will be a little odd not having a daily ADR to go to but I think since this is an R&R trip it will be really great to sit and argue daily about where we are eating :rotfl2: Really though, I'm making a list of all the CS places that we really like and we will just pull it out when needed. I know we will be going to WPE several times and we are going to give the Pepper Market another try....it was pretty bad the last time.

Yes in fact we did upgrade to CBR. But didn't want to deal with adr's. So we are at pop with the QSDP. I cannot understand it either. I think you should be able to choose. You can choose to upgrade at a value so why can't you downgrade if staying at a mod or deluxe.

We did the QSDP last year and we loved it. Just much easier for us. We do do 2 TS meals op and just use the extra creidts and snacks for the girls for breakfest. If we did the regular plan we would need to buy breakfest items. Dh and I don't do breakfest we eat lunch early in the day around 11:30 am or so.

I tried to do the QSDP at POR, but they would not let me. I called and spoke with several different CMs. They were a little confused to why it was not an option too.:confused3

There were PIN codes that went out earlier this year, good for dates 4/23-8/13. I got a few via email in March and a couple more in early April. (not good for us, we're going in Oct) They were for free QSDP at the mods and values, DDP at the deluxe resorts. Haven't read any reports here of anyone getting the same PINs lately, though.
