Free Dining????????

I have seen few people mentioning on the boards - getting 'free' dining?!? What is thjs and how does someone get this??

What was the actual offer? For my family to add the Dining Plan it is about $900. Would they have given me all of this for free?!?! Plus did you have to book by 8/20 or go by 8/20?

You had to book by 8/20 and travel by 10/4. The actual offer was one counter service meal, one snack & one table service meal per day for everyone in your party. For the length of stay.

Ok. So I couldn't have done it anyways.................but was it still like getting the entire Dining Plan for free??

Book by 8/20. If you were traveling between 8/21 and 10/4. You had to buy a package(resort stay and tickets) and stay at least 3 nights, dining would have been included for free. They still sell the dining plan at $35 for adults & children 10+ and $10 for children 3-9 per night you stay.

DDE is Disney's Dining Experiece which is a card you can buy if you are an AP holder or a FL resident. It gives you 20% off at selected Disney restaurants.

You would have had to book it by 8/20 and it was available until 10/4. Basically, it gives you 1 table service meal, 1 counter service meal and 1 snack per person per day if you are staying on property. I just booked a quick 3 day trip for next month because of this.
