Free dining ?

Does soup or a salad count as an appetizer if you chose that instead of an actual appetizer? And for those that ate at the California Grill, are the flatbreads considered an appetizer?

If I go to a counter service and get a hamburger meal that includes a burger, fries and soda....does that include dessert or what kind of dessert can you get?
