Free dining??

Hello!
I am currently in the process of starting to book my disneyworld vacation for Oct!! Question though about the "free dining"....to my understanding we had to have booked by 12/20/10, correct? Will there be any other time we can book that or is it done until next year??
Otherwise they offer the regular dining with packages deals? Is buying the dining plan worth it??

No one knows if they have another free dining offer for 2011 or not.

The regular dining plan says it can save you up to 20%. This assumes that you would without the plan be paying for one snack, one QS and one TS each night of your stay. Is that something you would do?

Even if so, your savings or loss will depend on what you order. Some entrees are much more than others. Also soda is more than a cup of water.

I found it saves more for kids than adults in my experience.

Hi fellow 209 Dis-er!!! The FD offered last fall only went to September.

IF(and that's a big if) free dining is offered this year again, it likely would be offered for late Aug to early Oct and will be announced in early April. Fingers crossed, shamrocks collected and leprechauns held hostage, or whatever it takes to promote luck. I want to go Oct 2.

Well...I booked our trip today for Sept 14-21 with dining, so i am crossing my fingers for some sort of miracle that they offer the free dining again!!

Did you ask if there was a pin attached to your name? They have been sending out both emails and snail mails for FD because I have gotten both. An email about the 1st of March and a snail mail yesterday. It's worth asking about!
