Is free dining being offered through all of 2011?

Currently can be booked for dates through 9/29/11. Must be booked on this offer by December 20.

I have another question for the moderator, please. My daughter gets an e-mail from Disney to the Smith family. Well, that is her children's name but not hers anymore since she is divorced now. The e-mail offers a discount to the Smith family. Only she & I are going to WDW next year. Can we still use this discount?

I believe what you are referring to is a PIN #. If her last name is no longer Smith she needs to call and change it over. As when you check in the name has to match perfectly.

Depending on what CM she gets they may let her have the PIN discount. There are reports that it doesn't always happen.

She should explain on the phone the issue and hopefully they can book it for her.
If they won't, I would call back and speak with another CM. Sometimes it is all about getting the right CM. (it is unfortunate, but that is the way it is)

I get those PIN offers at my address with my mother's name on them. What I have been told is that my mother can use them, but I can't. The name has to match.

This person needs to call and tell Disney to change her name in their records. And then she can ask if she can use the PIN because it does refer to her, but she has changed her name. I agree that if she doesn't get the answer she wants she should call again and ask someone else. If she gets the same answer she should ask to speak with a supervisor.

Thank you, i just don't understand why i don't get them in my name since i am the one who always books the trips! She has only booked one trip herself about 5 yrs ago!!!

I would guess because they are going after the infrequent visitor. I am a frequent visitor, which would be borne out by their records, but my mother is not.

I assume the pin discount is not for free dining.

You can't combine discounts. You can use either free dining or a room discount.
