Free Dining

I know that they are having free dining this August, but traditionally, when else do they have it?

Traditionally, it's mid-August to around the end of September (1st week of October this year). There have been some reports of non-transferable offers being sent to individuals that extends free dining until the week before Thanksgiving this year -- no idea on whether or not that will be open to the general public.

Last year they offered some early December free dining and the year before that there was some offered in May.

The only traditional offering for the General Public is Aug-Sept. LAst year they offered it for dates in OCt,Nov, and Dec BUT it was not released to the general public. The only way to have gotten it was a random person specific pincode mailing from disney destinations( only a few random people got them) OR Disney Visa made an offer to its card holders...BUT they didn't even announce it till Sept.Last year was the first time ever it was offered other than the summer time frame, so no guarantees for this year. So far a few people have received the pincodes from Disney, but thats it.

The only offering for the General Public is Aug-Sept.

And May 2007.

We originally booked the May Free Dining (loved the thought of free food and cooler weather!) when it was opened up to the public that spring but had to change to August because work conflicts. I have never received a PIN code so I don't know about those special offers. I am REALLY hoping for some spring offerings next year !!

We are doing free dining in October this year so hopefully it will be a bit cooler and less crowded than August.
