Free dining with rented points?

If you book a room with DVC rented points and free dining comes out after are you(the DVC owner) allowed to add this to the ressie?

No free dining is never available with DVc points.

Its a cash only promotion to get people to pay full price for rooms during slower times of the year.

You can pay for dining plan at a very inflated price if you want to though.

Thanks for the reply! No that's ok-free dining was nice when we went back in 2010 on cash ressie,just thought I would ask.

Free dining is a package promo through Disney Travel. You have to get a full price room and 2 day MYW tickets to qualify. You can get a DVC resort at full price and get the free dining. Compare that to your rental price and adding dining at full price, you may still be less.
