Every year I went with free dining , there was never a code for the general public, at least not for the time frame they set it up for, which was end of aug and all of sept I believe. So, why would there be a code for people now if your going with in those times they set it up for? As long as your going within those time frames, then you get it, right?

No, Disney never just automatically gives the discounts to all visitors. You have to actually book them and there are usually a limited number of rooms at each resort which are eligible for Free Dining (hence why people warn against pre-booking to reserve "your room" since having bookings already at a resort decreases the number of Free Dining rooms that will be made available at that resort). There have always been codes.

My guess is that you just said something along the lines of "I want to book a trip with free dining" and the cast member took care of the code for you.

I don't know if they'll transfer your money you've already paid or not... I'd suggest waiting 20 minutes and calling them to change it cuz I'm sure they can transfer your money over the phone... but things get tricky when you rebook online (I used to work for a cruise company and people tried it all the time!)

I think that's just an "ideal" package. try it anyway!

I hope so too! But I am doubting it... I really want a preferred POP room but my hubby's severance check from a job he just got laid off from hasn't come yet, and I don't get paid until tomorrow! And I doubt there will be any of those rooms left by then... Hopefully I can book this afternoon if his check comes! I'm just up checking everyone out right now since I had to get up to do my 3am baby feeding!
