Free dining upgrade

I just booked free dining for my Oct trip. Does anyone know if I can upgrade to deluxe dining at check in? I think the difference is $30 adult and $10 child. TIA!!

I believe that you will need to upgrade that prior to check in. I'd call Disney to inquire.

You won't be able to do it at check in. It would have to be upgraded before then. At the very latest, I believe 3 days before check in. We upgraded this year and it was $32/adult/night and $10/child/night.

Agree with PP, this must be added prior to arrival. I'm not sure of the number of days before it has to be added.

We just spent two weeks in Disney on free dining with the DxDDP upgrade....
it was so worth the cost to upgrade. If doing a shorter trip less then a week I would not waste the time and energy to make as many sit down meals.

It worked well for us because our seven year old has the temperment and stamina to last in a park for 8-12 hours. And anytime your spending 12 hours in Epcot you NEED three sit down meals. Oh how the time flew. My seven year old tried so many new foods. And as usual did not want to leave Epcot!
