Hi: I've done some searching but can't seem to find the answers...
We (group of 9) are headed to Pop Century 8/26-9/2 for free dining. We'll have 5 rooms at Pop among us. We are receiving free dining but did the minor buy up for the sit down meal plan (I think it's like an extra $15/day) as we'll like to have some sit down meals.
First question -- my husband and I are traveling from the US and have made the reservations for ourselves and the 7 family members coming from the UK. The UK Disney line does not offer free dining, but I suppose it's still okay that they participate in the free dining plan I have booked, right? CM on the phone took all family member's UK home addresses and didn't seem to have a problem.
Second question -- I'd rather not have 5 rooms at $200 holding fee on my credit card like I do now. Do you think I can call Disney and ask to have the rooms switched to UK credit cards?
Third question -- I assume it's worth it to stay at Pop and pay the extra to bump up from free dining plan to free dining + a few sit downs, or should we do a moderate which gives you the free dining plan that includes some sit down meals? Only moderate open is CBR, which I do like, but was hoping for POR. UK family wants the least inexpensive resort, but I think it's still worth the slight upgrade to enhance the meal plan. Anyone ever bump up meal plans from free to free-plus a few dollars more?
Thanks in advance for the opinions. I'm the only US native involved so I'm a bit nervous to do Disney right with 10 non Disers...
