free dining this Sept?

I haven't seen anything about free dining for the fall season. Does anyone know the likelihood that it will be offered again?

If it's offered, it should be announced in the next 4-6 weeks. Keep a lookout! The current deal ends Mid August so I would think if it's offered, it's going to run from that date through the end of Sept.

Everyone seems to believe that free dining will happen again this year. The reasons being that they had bounceback for it from last year and they have already started offering it in the UK. That is usually a good sign that it will be offered to the general public in the US too.

Disney is killing me. I have gotten two pins, they are having some really good deals this year, and, as a travel agent, they have a special deal for us. And I CAN'T go this year! We are going to New York and Nashville instead. With maybe a weekend in New Orleans thrown in too. So, no Disney this year for me. I sure hope they have all these deals next year when I can go.

The waiting for free dining is killing me. We will be going to disney again for spring break and in 8/10. I keep looking for disney to send me a pin. we were at disney last january and november. I even save my initinary for 8/10 but still no free dining pin. I only received the pin for the gift card deal which ends before my late august stay.
anything I can do to increase my chance of getting the free dining pin? Help

That's exactly what I'm doing - booking for end of Aug, but I'll book all the ADR's now in case there is free dining. If not, I'll cancel the extra ones & just keep the ones I really want to go to. But, if I don't book them now, I may not get them if free dining is then announced, since I can book next week.

We loved FD last Oct. ~ our 1st day was 10/1 ~ but it was so hot and humid - YUCK! I hope to go back mid-late Oct. 2011 - if we can get FD great but I don't think I'll go earlier to get it. It really was too much food for us, we could eat cheap if we needed to.

Only if you cancel within 45 days of the trip and don't rebook immediately.

I wouldn't cancel the entire trip, just the ADRs that we wouldn't be able to afford without free dining.

I know you have to purchase a one day ticket to get the deal. Can this AND the GAD money be used towards a multi day ticket or AP?

No only 1 ticket can be used towards it.

I got a pin yesterday for free quick service dining up through mid July, but we are planning in going in November. I'm hoping since it was only good for mid summer that means there will be free dining in the fall. Everyone cross your fingers...

If you are interested in FD past Oct 2 I will bet you'll have to wait longer then those going in Aug/Sept. The past few years Disney has released FD for Aug/Sept (ending early Oct) in March or April. If/when FD is extended it likley won't be offered until a few months later. FD for Oct - Dec was offered towards the end of July last year.
