Ooh Ooh - anyone want to say what they mean by the Deluxe Dining Plan for less than half price? What is the price difference between regular and deluxe.....oh No Somebody Stop Me I Think I Am Spinning Out Of Control With All Of THis :scared1: :lmao: :lmao:

Hum????
Intersting. We are booked @ all stars movies 8-29 thru 9-6. So is my brother. So we are both planning on being on the phones @ 7 on the 10th in hopes of getting free dining! I hope this will not be a lost cause! Wonder how hard it would be to get it.

This is my 4th year at WDW, but my first year trying to get FREE dining! I booked my ressie 3 weeks ago for 8/23 to 9/1...just been waiting for the promo so I could call and get the free dining. I thought I read that I would have to cancel and rebook at my resort (if avaialble - POR). But now, what do I do...we are coming 1 day before the promo starts! Already have plane tix too! How does that work?

You will need to make two reservations....one for that first day and then a separate one for the days free dining is available.....sadly your park tickets wont be available until you start your package - on your second day. You could purchase a one day pass for your first day but it will be very expensive that way.

We booked last year in the middle of May for free dining August 26-Sep 3/07 on Expedia, and there was plenty of resorts to choose from. I'm not sure if the popularity will make things fill up faster this time around, but would suspect that most people will have very decent choices (especially if you have a back-up plan!)!

When we arrive on Saturday 8/23...it is after 3pm. So by the time we get the ME to the resort, check-in, not much park time available. We had just planned on heading to Downtown Disney anyway. Will I have to actually check out the following day, re-checkin and change rooms, etc? When make the 2 ressies, is the first one a "room only" ressie? I think I have heard that term before!

Also, I had already made ADR's and had planned on using the TS from the first night (since we are arriving late) and adding it to another night when we go to The Spirit of Aloha. This kind of messes that up for us...huh!?

THis should work out fine for you except for the Spirit of Aloha show. Yes the first day will be a "room only" reservation....you can let them know tomorrow that you would like it noted on both the room only and the free dining reservation that you would like to link the two together so that IF POSSIBLE you wont have to move to another room. There is no guarantee though and you will have to go to the checkin counter a second time whether you get to stay in the same room or not......

Good luck tomorrow :)

Nothing official till in the morning but looks like it.I would call and have the dis page open and keep refreshing it till you get the code. You do not have to have it to call but good to know if you get a clueless CM. Call and by the time you stall you will see it.
Hey it can't hurt to try and good luck:thumbsup2

I just wanted to jump in here regarding using the FD for the Spirit of Aloha show. We were gonna do that but the seating is not that good in comparison to what you get when you buy it yourself. We found it just wasn't worth it to us to use two credits and get crappy seats. So we paid for the show ourselves...

Just something to think about.
