Free dining question

This may be a silly question, but the dates that are offered do you have to arrive on one of those days or can you still be eligible if your trip carries over into the eligible period?

You have to check in during the eligible dates. Your trip can run past the end date and still have free dining for the entire trip, but you can not check in before the dates start and have free dining. What most people do is book a split stay...checking in with a room only reservation and starting their package on the first free dining date, essentially have two reservations and linking them together.

It goes entirely by your check-in date. As long as that date is within the eligible period, you get it for your entire trip. But you won't get it if you check-in outside of those dates, even if your trip carries over into one of the eligible periods.
