Free dining question

Looks like we may be going the week before Thanksgiving. My husband has a conference to attend.

It also appears that free dining is offered. We enjoy the TS's, so would probably choose that over the QS plan.

But, since DH will be having lunch at the conference, I fear we will have a few CS's left over.

Do you think I can use the leftover CS's for snack credits? I know my DD7.5 would love to leave WDW with a stash of Disney snacks.

You would probably have luck doing this if you trade them in at a food court or CS in a resort. Not sure it would work as well in the parks or at a store. I also think it varies by place or even cashier as to how many snacks you can get per CS credit.

Also, remember that August 14 is the last day to book general public free dining.

We are going for 9 days on DDP...2A 1C only the child will not bejoining us until the 4th day so we will have 4 CCS and 4 CTS that we will have extra. Cant we use the extra CCS to order extra meals..I am talking ordering childs meals not adult ..I can do a childs CS no problem and so can my DD..the question I have is can the childs TS meals be used to buy CS meals..if so how do we handle that so they dont use CS instead of TS..does this make sense. Please PM or email me since sometimes I can not find the original thread. Thanks

CS and TS credits are separated from each other. They will not use a CS credit for a TS meal, or vice versa (unless you specifically ask to use a TS credit for a CS meal and they agree). Yes, you can use the child's credits to order extra child meals. If you have a resort food court or CS you can try, you may even be able to trade them for snacks.
