Free Dining Question

My mother aunt and sister are heading down to WDW on 8/25 and staying till 9/4. She has the Free Dining package at Caribbean Beach. I was heading down to meet them 8/30 and leaving 9/4. Can she add me to the Free Dining for just those days or do I need to be on the reservation for the whole time?

Figured I would ask here. I don't need to be on the Free Dining Plan, but my mother is insisting! Thanks in advance!
