Free dining question for off season

If they offer free dining for value resorts during the off season, and let's say the off season room rate is $84 per night, would you get free dining at that rate or would they charge a higher price for the room even though it's off season?

Disney doesn't typically change their prices for the year once they're published. Their rules for free dining up until now have always involved paying rack rate which has always been the already published rate. Granted they're free to do whatever they want with their promotions, but I don't see them imposing a price increase that only affects a specific promotion. I can see putting additional requirements on the promotion like they did this year with requiring a 2 day MYW purchase rather than just 1 and maybe even insisting on a length of stay ticket or increasing the minimum nights or whatever else they can come up with, but I don't see an increase over the rack rate for the room.

Free Dining is only offered in the "off season." The rates don't change. If rack rate is posted for $84.00 per night, that's how much it is, free dining or not.

We are a family of 6 and we always get two connecting rooms at a value resort in value season. The last 4 times we booked, we've been lucky enough to get free dining. It's the absolute cheapest way for us to stay at WDW.
