Free Dining Promo Question

So I am anxiously waiting for some sort of code for early 2013. Our scheduled dates are now in late Feb.

Anywho....

I have been considering doing the Deluxe Dining Plan on this trip. So if Free Dining is offered, how would that affect Deluxe Dining? Is that offered at any discount?

I don't believe that the Deluxe Dining package is offered as "FREE" with any of the resorts during the FD promotion, but of course you can upgrade your dining package and pay the difference in price.

You would just have to pay the astrnomical price to upgrade and pay the difference between the plans. If you were staying at a value resort it would cost you about $63.00 per person, per night to upgrade and if you were staying at a moderate or a deluxe resort it would cost you about $45.00 per person, per night to upgrade to the deluxe dining.

The deluxe dining plan for 2013 is right at $100.00 per night, even with free dining and paying to upgrade, it's hard to make financial sense of that.
