Free Dining Plan?

Hi all,

My wife has asked me to put this thread on

We bought the 10 day (no expiry/park hopper) MYW Disney tickets last year.
Have just used 1 day on them so far.

It appears they are now selling them with a 'free dining plan' - can we get these included on ours by upgrading do you think?
Naturally we have no intention of buying new MYW tickets as we have only used the 1 day.

Hello Johnny , Unless something has changed recently, the free dining is tied to staying on Disney property and booking a package. The deal is you pay full rack rate for the hotel, at least one day park ticket and you get the free dining - times when they don't fill their rooms too easily; late August and September (I think!).

If they are giving free dining just with the park tickets I'd be truly amazed, but heh, this is the place of magic ......

Hi...Johnnny...Yes what Pootle says is correct. I have just booked free dining myself for late August.
It has to be a package...room...tickets...and dining for free
It is a great deal though.....You only need to buy a one day base ticket for each member of your party....then you can when you arrive use it to upgrade your exsisting ticket back to 10 days again...so this would work...you only have to decide if you want to stay on site. I think you normally stay in a villa.
Perhaps you could try one week on site...and the rest in a villa.

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

We are staying at the Boardwalk for a few nights before the rest of our 3 week holiday in a villa - in August.
We are already booked.
