I was just wondering: the maximum you could book the Free Dining plan package was 10 nights, right? Is anyone staying that long?

We booked free dining in the UK for 14 nights. We then decided to extend our holiday to 21 nights so we have another 6 nights of free dining with 1 night at the Hard Rock Hotel.

So we have 20 nights of free dining!!

I did on bounce back (it was 10 nights). Originally, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go Sunday to Sunday or Wednesday to Wednesday, so I booked Sunday to Wednesday the next week, thinking I'd cancel 3 days on one end. But then I talked myself into just staying the whole 10 days!

We'll be there Sept. 9 to 19. Boy - I screwed that up - Sept. 19 is my BDay. Can anyone think of a worse birthday than LEAVING WDW? (Other than not going at all?)

ok...can you guys start a thread when you return???/

Before DDP weight.....and ....After DDP weight?/

lol........just kidding!!! Knowing full well you will walk it off...its the adult beverages that like to linger on the waist line:)...Or...maybe its just me....nevermind:)

Well if your cup is half full, its not leaving Disney on your birthday, its waking up at Disney when its your birthday. Happy Birthday!

I have chosen to take free ddp for 14 nights, then the offer expires, and I am doing a further 7 nights on room only .... tbh I think I will be ddp'd out by then anyway, and will be grateful for a CS dinner ....LOL

I wanted to stay longer, but since I'm keeping DD-13 out of school, I just couldn't justify more than one full school week + one more Friday.

Sept.21-29

I thought I was exceeding the limit since I knew last year's was 10 nights, and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to book my 11 nights/12 days at WDW! It is the longest I have ever been there, and I am so excited! :thumbsup2 I wish I could stay 2-3 weeks.....but this is longer than I thought I would be able to!

Oh wow! That's cool. I'm actually asking because I'm planning on going back to WDW September 2008. I know it's not sure there will be free dining, but I want to weigh out all the options now so i can jump at it as soon as possible. So what do you do with your tickets? Especially those that are going 2-3 weeks. I was planning on going 3 weeks to Orlando. 2 days Sea World, 1 day Atlantica and 1 day Discovery Cove. All the other days WDW!!! Most likely 1 day Blizzard Beach, 1 day Typhoon Lagon and the other days at the 4 major parks. So I don't know what to buy.

IF there's free dining and I'm able to book for 14 days and then again for 7 days: 2 one day tickets (the first ticket for the first 2 weeks and the second for the 3rd week) plus a premium annual pass
or a 10 day pass with water park options plus an other day pass?

Or if I just book 2 weeks free dining: 1 one day ticket plus a premium annual pass
or a 10 days pass with water park options
If I buy the first one I'll probably want to go back within the year, if I buy the second option I won't and i'll be able to see an other part of the US.

I hope I made myself clear, decision decisions...

Oh and also: do you think free dining is a good offer when travelling solo probably to a value resort?

My husband shocked me when he said that he was not maximizing his vaction days and told me to book for 14 nights. Of course this is after he found out we could get airfare for $80 pp on a southwest ding. I was in shock and was so excited. My three year old asks every morning how long until Disney. This morning it was 49 more night nights!!!!!!!!:yay:

With DD entering high school we were confined to only 7 nights of free DDP...if it would have started earlier than 8/26, we would have gone for a much longer stay. However, we do have a 4 night room-only prior to free DDP, so we'll actually be there 12 days. That's our longest visit to date and I hope we don't run out of things to do.
