There are threads on the other boards saying that Free Dining is coming back this fall :woohoo:

There is also a link on the DIS Home page (top right) :thumbsup2

The DIS boards are the best

But................ I may have to plan another trip sooner rather than later :rotfl2:

Oh YEAH! I just emailed TA to change our ressie to include dp. I'm going to call her as well. We're going to forgo aps I think and do the dining plan with e park hoppers, which works out 500 bucks cheaper than buying aps. True, we won't have the aps afterwards, but if we buy them next time instead of this time, they'll be good for that much longer too! :)

So, do you know how much a 8 night trip with hoppers would be on this new deal?? Dh is starting to seem a bit interested :woohoo: and me, well, I could go to disney anytime.....but this deal just seems so wonderful. TIA.

It would all depend on your resort of choice, trip dates, how many hoppers and ages of people in you party.

Just an idea for you. We are going for 7 nights 2 adults 2 children staying @ a value (POP) and 1 day park tix (have APs) for $861.00. Also got quoted Contemporary wing all other options the same for $2193.00. Depends on your budget what you consider a bargain.

I think I'd just 1 day 1 park passes and buy the AP anyway, if I were you. That way you'd still get the Free Dining, AND have the AP without burning hundreds of dollars on day use tickets...

Pocket the tickets for another day, or (If I recalll correctly) apply them towards your next AP.

Am I wrong in assuming this?

I *think* you would have to make sure you have the non-expiry option, though, in order to apply the unused ticket credit amount - unless you bought the AP's before the 14 day expiration...

Soooo very confusing!:teeth:

Could I do 13 nights in a value with DH and the kids in August? I'm spoiled by DVC and villa rentals:teeth: :teeth:

So the Ontario trip would definitely be off!! :moped: :moped: Driving to WDW instead!!

I would love to take advantage of this special... BUT two things stop me ... Huricanes and the Heat.

How HOT is August ??? I think maybe we could go Aug 13th to 18th ... since I already have that week off BUT i'm worried it will be too hot.

AND then September on top of the kids missing a week of school, I'm worried about Huricanes. :confused3

What do to???

We went in September back in 2002...and no kidding, it was *hot*...glasses, cameras all fogged up as soon as you stepped out of any AC area....love that wall of humidity that hits you, too :teeth:

We were fortunate with the weather..no hurricanes while there....but reading everyone's reports while staying at WDW - the resorts and CM's are always very prepared, along with good reports about airlines and status of MCO during extreme weather.
