August 25/05 - Breakfast - Bagels we had bought at Super Target yesterday with side of bacon (I need protein cause of the diabetes) and tea and coffee in our mugs.

Lunch at Food Quest - We all shared 2 Pepperoni pizzas, 2 brownies and sodas and a milk for me. The pizzas were really yummy, much more delicious than the ones at POP which I hated!! The brownies were delicious too, we actually only ate 1 and then brought the other home to the POP and put it in the fridge and ate it later! $21.00 with $2.40 out of pocket for a garlic bun and a milk. We only used 2 counter services here.

Dinner at Narcoossee's - Our only 2 Table service meal. I won't do this one again as the surf and turf at Le Cellier is better and only uses 1 table service!! DH had shrimp cocktail, I had the chowder and DS had the mussels. We had to ask for bread even though everyone else had been given theirs long before!! DH ordered a rasberry smoothie and got a milkshake, YUCK. Eventually got it changed. DS had a vanilla shake and I just had milk. You could only have 1 smoothie/shake on the plan, where everywhere else we had been had given us 2. Strange that at a 2 TS restaurant you can only have !? DS had pan seared scallops and mussels with angel hair pasta which came with pesto sauce, but he asked if he could have it with Alfredo and the chef made if for him from scratch which was very nice of him and DS thought it was delicious. DH and I had surf and turf (2 filet medallions and a lobster tail with potato gratin). It was good but not as good as Le Cellier, not worth 2 TS! DH had almond crusted cheesecake which was delicious. I had the Hazelnut ganache cake, Expedition Everest which was nice and DS had the sorbet which was good. All in all it was an okay meal, but atmosphere, food, service, none of it was as good as Le Cellier and again not worth 2 TS. $246.00

August 26/05 - Breakfast - Same as yesterday.

Lunch - DH was golfing so DS and I shared lunch at POP food court. We had a chicken penne alfredo with a breadstick and a tie-dyed cheesecake and got a bottle of water for later. $13.89 for counter service. We had spent the whole morning at the pool while DH was golfing. When DH came home, he got shrimp lo mein and a rocky road cheese cake and a water.

Dinner - Captain Jack's at DTD - It was a nice place on the water. DH had shrimp cocktail, DS and I had clam chowder which was delicious. DH and I had the twin lobster tail dinner, his with rice and mine with mashed potatoes and DS had the seafood pasta. The lobster was very nice (not as good as Le Cellier though - do you see a trend here!!). We all shared 1 white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and had the other 2 to go as we were all stuffed. This was a good choice for seafood and as long as you go early shouldn't be a problem without ADR's.

August 27/05 - Breakfast - Granola bars today.

Lunch - 50's Prime Time Cafe - DH and I had the fried cheese which we really didn't like very much, but I think we were expecting something more like fried mozzarella sticks and it isn't really like that. DS had chicken noodle soup. DS and I had chicken pot pie which was delicious as usual. It is my favourite here and the reason we always come at lunch because it isn't on the dinner menu! DS couldn't finish his. DH had the pot roast and cleaned his plate too!! DH had apple crumble which he thought was too sweet with the caramel sauce, but stil good, I had the snickers cheesecake and DS had the smores. It was all delicious. I love the food here and our cousin Kristy was right into her role too and it was very fun in our section!! $102.18

Dinner - POP Food court - DS and I shared a Chicken Penne Alfredo again which was yummy and DH had a ham and havarti sandwich. DS and I shared a tie-dyed cheesecake and DH had a chocolate cake. $27.60

More reviews later.

Great review! We love 50's Primetime Cafe! I can't wait to go and now maybe I'll try the chicken pot pie.

You must have gotten very lucky with your servers. We weren't able to get smoothies/shakes on the meal plan anywhere. But I did notice it seems subject to the CM that rings you up.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like Narcoosees that much. We had a completely opposite experience there with everything being Perfection. We deemed it the best spent evening of our trip & completely worth the 2 credits we used there.

I'll have to try Cap'n Jacks sometime. We've never eaten there yet.

Thanks for your reviews.

I'm curious what were the fried cheese like at the 50's Prime time cafe? Was it like a mozzerells stick maybe just more squared or something?

Tell me what you thought about the TieDye Cheesecake. It looks so cool, I was wondering if it was good, too!!

The tie dyed cheesecake was very yummy. It was very hard to get your eyes around the tie dyed look of it. My DH never could and wouldn't even try it (all the more for DS and I!!), but it was very light and cheesecakey, just like regular cheesecake just in very funky, wild colours!!

The fried cheese at 50's PTC is a round fried cheese that is very soft inside and a strong cheese like a brie sort of. Kind of like a soft spreadable cheese, but quite strong, not mild like a mozzarella cheese like we were expecting. But not completely unpalateable, just not what we had expected.
