free dining package, pass expiry help

Hi everyone, I am hoping someone on here can help me with quite a specific question.

Ok, so we have booked the free dining offer through disney directly. I think the offer works differently in the UK which is why I am posting it on here.

So we had to get park passes £225pp and the accomodation together in order to get the free dining. We are going to Saratoga Springs and this has additional reductions so it worked out pretty economical for us.

here's the issue.
Whilst 3 of us live over here, the 4th member of the party is currently living in florida (golfer.) anyway, he has an annual pass. now, you have to book the same package for all of the party, so we would have to get him a 14 day hopper too.
like I said, it is a really good offer, so even if we split the extra cost of this between the 4 of us, it would still be worth while.

my question is, would we have to use the pass on THIS vacation? My bro has ppl staying with him in novemebr so they could use it then)

so my question is, if you but the tickets and accomodation package, and get hte free dining, can you use the free dining but keep one of the passes to use later??
any advice on this???

From what I have read, You dont have to use the 14 day tickets, you can save them (but they have to be activated by 31Dec2010) I have heard of other people with annual passes doing this.

If someone else doesnt come along and give a definative answer then I would call disney and just explain it to them and see what they say, but I am pretty sure that he could use his AP.
