so.......if i've already booked a package (room/tickets/dining) thru my TA, and paid with my DV, all she has to do is have Disney add the FD? She won't have to cancel my package and rebook the whole thing with FD?

Please forgive all my questions, this is the first time using a TA, and the first time I've booked without FD and then it has become available after the fact.

I have a package booked but I used a different card to make the deposit on. Can I just make another deposit on the same package using my DV card tomorrow, or will they have to cancel my current package, return the deposit and redo it? I'm wondering if I should call tonight and switch the cards ..

Already have 2 rooms booked at POR for Nov. 7-12. I'm in Arizona so 3 hours behind right at the get-go! Opinions on chances if I wait until I get up, which is about 9am my time, so noon ET. Also, the 2 rooms were booked separately but I have both confirmation numbers. Can I change both of them or do we each have to do it separately?

Thanks in advance!! This is my first time trying to get a discount, sad we can't get free dining but we are staying DVC Nov. 12-18, and have APs. Just couldn't get DVC for Nov. 7-12.

If you've already paid a $200 deposit with your DV, you're good to go for tomorrow. You don't have to cancel the package and rebook, just have your TA have the FD discount applied.
If you haven't yet made a $200 deposit/payment with your DV, you'll need to do that tomorrow when you call to have FD discount applied. You don't have to cancel and rebook. Good luck!!

You have all your ducks in a row! Yep, all your TA has to do is call to have it applied. I would give her a back up room category and resort just in case there are no free dining rooms available for your current reservation. Good luck!!! : )

If I have a package through AAA that I got before the price increases, will adding FD bump the price up? The room/ticket package I reserved is about $200 less than it would be to reserve now. FD will still save me money either way, but I'm curious as I price things out.

Yes, you should be able to have just 1 of you check in a day earlier. Often, only 1 person goes to check in desk anyway so shouldn't be a problem at all. Good luck!

Thank you SOOOOOOO MUCH! This eases my mind considerably. I've got a great TA! All I have to do now is cross my fingers that my check in date of 10/19 is included.

I'm off to burn some more incense! Hopefully I'll sleep tonight. I'm going to wake up early just to check the boards to make sure my date is included, then I'll probably go back to bed until workout time, since my TA will have it handled for me.

Whew! I haven't been this nervous in a long time!!

I'm so excited for you all! I stuck with my FD ressie at POFQ in mid-Sept. mostly because I want to experience what a crowd level of 1 feels like and also because I got a great price for airfare for our week.
