Just got off the phone. I asked the agent if there were any deals available. She paused, then sort of giggled, then said "Nooooo.... but there ARE deals coming out tomorrow!" I asked her if the phone lines are going to be crazy tomorrow - she said she wouldn't recommend calling first thing, but waiting until later - maybe 9:00 in the morning to call.

Also, I noticed when I clicked on My Disney Experience, the banner ad has what looks like a Christmas present... it links to the deals page, but no new deals listed yet!

I also have already booked with a FD PIN for our November Thanksgiving trip and still can't get off these threads!!! Also just got "another" email that August 1st is the day for FD, and I'll still get up just to look at all the happy people!!

I am going Oct23-28. I checked my dates again and it is saying there is no availability for my party size, which is 5+infant. Is it possible that all the AB rooms are booked? When I change the amount in my party, it is telling me that they only have Garden view and Pool view available, as well as some Royal rooms. I am going to Disney no matter what, but I was really hoping for a discount beyond aaa, and I chose late October bc I thought crowds and rates would be lower! I am now losing hope!

I just went to look for my dates (because earlier today they were showing availability) and now the website says system down for maintenance

I had my dining res and then changed everything before and was not charged (including Royal Table and Backyard BBQ). As long as there is still a dining plan you should be fine with keeping the res and not being charged.

I thought that poster said she was dropping the dining plan to pay OOP. Maybe I read it wrong. I'll go back and check.

ETA: She was going to drop the plan, so she should be charged in that case, right?

Anyone else having issues with MDE?

I'm trying to check availability and finalize plans for tomorrow morning and every resort I pull up says "Booking is currently unavailable".

Maybe a change to the website is in process ???

I'm blown away at all y'all that have TAs that haven't even touched based. I contacted ALL my clients that fell within that time frame and gave them a "heads up" that it was a possibility. I will be on hold for Disney I'm sure for hours tomorrow..all with a smile on my face! If you aren't getting the same service, find yourself another TA. Those ones give us ALL a bad name. My family is going on a free pin in Dec (1st week that was suppose to be slow but now seems like it's going to be CRAZY busy :/) but I hope that y'all are clouded in Pixie Dust tomorrow

Delta flights from Philly to MCO have dropped in the last hour.
Encouraging news since flights have been $100-$200 per round trip more than when I was originally pricing airfare. Maybe everything will fall into place after all. Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes!
I'm going to go get a glass of wine now to calm my nerves. Anyone else join me?

I am having Pinot Grigio as we speak.... Good for the nerves...Only one though....I would hate for anything to make me miss my morning conversation with a WDW CM....

Anywhoo... I called Disney back (I forgot I wanted to check if I have a last-minute PIN code). This time the guy tells me they hope to have new promotions released by the end of August.

Trust me if I could change my TA i would, but we're already paid...so really nothing for her to do...I did my own ADR's

Well, it's 11:00 est so time for me to get what little sleep I can before 7am rolls around. I'm normally in bed by 8:30pm and awake by 5:30 or 6am.....I hope I can get some sleep. So excited and nervous about tomorrow, as I know you all are too. I hope we all get our Plan A resorts ....and no one has to resort to Plan Z LOL.

Is there any chance they'll release the online deals at midnight or anything? That Christmas present special offers link is making my mouth water to see the deals listed online. Is that new or am I imagining it? Anyone else seeing it?

Control issues coming forth in me.
I have a reservation with a TA. I'm sure she will be calling and trying to get me FD. But she has to do it for lots of other people too. Not sure where I am in her line.
If I call right away and make my own reservation, since I will be using the same email address/name/address/etc my travel agent has for me, will my TA "see" what I did? Will Disney get confused by two? Obviously will cancel once the pixie dust settles and know who got the better deal. I don't want my TA knowing I went behind her back or took matters into my own hands!

Baaaahaaaa! Some CMs just won't give it up will they.....Even their last call of the night.. I could probably never keep a WDW CM position because I would be letting everyone know everything I did..
