i just want to say that every resort we visit is my kids' new favorite. since you have only ever stayed at POFQ, you don't know that you won't fall in love with a different resort! you're at WDW!!!

our favorite Mod is CSR, but we plan to stay at POR Royal Room in January. and once our youngest turns 3, we'll be POR people (or Deluxe, when we can swing it).

You're so right!!! They're creatures of habit and don't like to change. This may be the perfect opportunity to get them out of their comfort zones and try something new!!! And I agree, we'll be at Disney World, so we're going to have an amazing time anyway:cool1:

).

It's kinda like watching fireworks. Oooh! That one was the best. Aaah! No wait, that one was better! OOOH! That last one must be better than all the others....

Someone just posted on the Feb thread that they received a FD pin for November! ???? Does that make sense for Disney to release pins at the same time as the GP deals?
I definitely think Disney is doing a great job with marketing this year, building excitement (or maybe just confusing everyone) so they book whatever they can get!

So... question... I'll be booking 3 rooms tomorrow morning - one for us, one for my brother's family, and one for my parents. If my dad, who has health issues on and off, needs to cancel before we hit the 45 day non-refundable window, would it be considered a modification at that point (where our remaining 2 rooms with FD would stay intact and untouched)? Or would it be a cancellation and we would have to re-book our 2 rooms with whatever rooms were left available at that point? Get what I'm saying? Wanting to book all three at once to streamline the process, but I'm a little nervous to put it all on our account. Especially if it somehow negated our FD promotion at the last minute... :worried:

I will be there the exact same dates! We are booked at POP but will be switching to CBR if we can! :goodvibes

We'll be there a day earlier! Checking out same date. We took the last flight back to NJ so our DME will be later in the day.

That seems a little odd that disney would still be mailing these things. Did they say weather it was snail mail or email

Okay, now that we know FD isn't going to be released today I have a little OT question...okay, maybe a couple of OT questions.

I had originally planned to book a room at Pop because I love it and my DH hasn't stayed there yet. We have stayed at ASMU and ASSP several times each, and Movies (which would have been my second choice because we haven't stayed there) is out of the running. What I don't like about the All Stars is the bussing situation. So question #1 is which has a better bussing between Sports and Music? We aren't going to eat at the resort food court, so I don't care that Sport's is closed.

My other thought is to go for CSR if I can't get Pop. The problem is that I really don't have time for a TS meal every day (our flight gets in around 7:30 the first night). Can you use TS credits for CS meals? California Grill is supposed to reopen before our trip, can you go there in decent theme park clothes and not feel under dressed?

We haven't stayed at AOA, ASMO or POFQ - they would be the 3 not included in the discount :( Keeping my fingers crossed for Pop!!

And finally, since we are all just sitting around waiting for tomorrow...did you see that Universal's new "value" priced hotel will not come with Express Pass service? I hope Disney doesn't follow suit and start offering more FP+ services to the deluxe resorts.

If we get free dining we will be there during F&W so a daily table service would not work for us. However we will instead plan on 2ts credit meals. In our case we are there 4 days so we will do one night at HBD Fantasmic Dinner Package and then one night we will go to the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Two nice meals 4 ts credits used.

We're actually trying to figure out if we'll even need all our cs credits.

It would be 3 separate reservations, so it would just be a cancellation of 1 of those original 3.

They'll link you guys together with a TW number, but cancelling 1 won't effect the others.

We've dropped off guest before that ended up not being able to go and decreased our rooms and it didn't cancel our other rooms or discounts. You could make sure that your dad's room has a different reservation number just in case though, which will take an extra 200.00 deposit but might be worth it if you're worried at all. But then you'd have to be sure to cancel prior to 45 days or lose that deposit.
