Ok ,
the big reveal for wifey is this week!!! She will be so happy to find out we are going in 60 days!!! I plan on doing a scavenger hunt reveal. ( hiding small containers around the house with little hints inside to find the final giveaway container with our ressies inside.)

I am going to steal some great ideas from Black's reveal.
Here are the items in each small container that I have.

1. A silver painted golf ball
2. A bonsai tree
3. A moon and stars
4. A mouse trap

SO NOW I NEED HELP!!!

I could use a few more pseudo Disney hints for a few more containers. . And also could ask what order would you have them found in? (Each container will have a hint on where to find the next) the need to be subtle. Still trying to think of one for the POLY.

I need a few less obvious ones,

I can feel for your wife. My dad was hospitalized with a collapsed lung. One week later, he was diagnosed with extensive stage lung cancer, and exactly one week from then, he passed away. .....in June 2010, and he was contemplating going to Disney with us in Oct. 2010, which would have been his first trip to Disney. When it was clear that he was passing quickly, I told him our plan....I bought buttons/pins at a craft store and put his picture in them. We wore them our whole trip. We knew he was with us, and he was still in all our pictures. Then, at Christmastime, I had a few of ornaments made using a few of the pics, and hung them on a small Christmas tree at his grave. .......So, I feel for your wife. I hope she has a great time on your trip!

So sorry about your wife's sudden loss of her dad.

Maybe for Poly, a polygon shape could work??? I'll keep trying; not feeling too good today.

Yes, just a room only ressie (no park tickets) at POP for our night of arrival. Did it online, and within 5 minutes it appeared in MDE already linked to my account and MB were ready to be personalized and FP+ able to be chosen. I was frankly amazed that it worked (which was another reason I was hesitant to place a ghost reservation)! I had looked at this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3164523
and saw that the ghost ressies were actually working for people, but I couldn't bring myself to spend money on a ghost ressie and then take up a room that someone might really need. Thank goodness that my hubby decided we could start a day earlier!!

How were you able to do fp without tix for that first nt? I was told I can't do fp bc I can't get my tix linked. Staying at POR oct 5-12.

That's wonderful of you! I'm a hospice nurse so I know how bad pancreatic ca can be. It's tough. How about rice crispy treats?

maybe because i already have a package booked at WL that starts the following day? not sure? like i said, i was amazed that it let me choose FP for my entire package stay too. do you have a package that includes tickets?

We have a travelocity room and tix. Room is linked, but can't get tix to link. Did you get fp tix for the day before your WL ressie, i.e. when it was room only?

That's sooooo sweet I know what its like to lose a father very suddenly. He was my best friend and taken fast & early. This..... will put a smile on her face and give her something to look forward to.
I was thinking for POLY....go to a party store and find tiki/hawaiian themed party stuff. You could use something like that right? I've never been there.....
You could find pictures of old movies too for HS. Print out pictures of countries at Epcot. Animals for AK....MKs a tough one....anything for there is a dead give away lol

We were blacked out of fd, and at a resort with only a 5% discount that became null and void with increase in tix price. So, we booked through travelocity to save a few hundred bucks. Now, we're at a resort with magicbands (por), but now we can't do fp bc our tix won't link. Haven't felt much magic or pixie dust here!

Have you read through the monster magic band thread? I think I saw somewhere that there was another number on the Travelocity res that works. I'm sorry I can't remember. Maybe search through the other threads for a third party thread ( travelocity
