So, I wasn't planning a trip when "free dining" was previously offered. We are going in early December, however, and with all the speculation about the soon-to-be announced new deal :hourglass , I figure I better understand some of the options.
Can anyone explain to me how "free dining" worked last time. Was it available to folks who booked room-only reservations?
Many thanks!

You had to book room at rack rate and at least a one-day park ticket per person. We leave FRIDAY. :cool1:

And the meals were really all free?
Have a fabulous trip! The forecast looks hurricane free!

The free dining plan previously offered was the same as the one you can purchase: for each night you stay, each person in your party gets one table service, one counter service, and one snack per night. So for 2 adults staying 7 nights, you'd get 14 total of each TS, CS and snack.

You just had to book a package at rack rate, plus at least a one day MYW ticket for each person.

I have a room only booked for december through Magical Memories Travel and she just sent out an email this morning saying that the new discount looks to be just a straight package discount, not a Free Dining offer. But you do have to have at least a one day base ticket to take advantage of a package.

I really do NOT think this much touted "new offer" has anything to do with free dining....I think everyone just wishes it did!!

I think a lot of people are fixing to be really steamed, when your basic package offer appears with a slight discount or something.

Those of us who were prepared to pay full price will be happy with any discount, even a small one. Of course, we're still wishing for a big one! :goodvibes

I would love free dining but I am not really expecting it. I am going whether or not I can get something better than my AAA discount. I am just happy to be going :cool1: :cool1:
