Free Dining in Spring 2016?

I'm a previous annual pass holder; however, it's been almost 8 years since our last WDW trip.

We're finally going back. I'm looking at the Fall 2015 free dining plan offer. My wife asked if they'll offer a free dining plan in the Spring. I assume they offer this promotion typically during slower times (such as certain dates during the school year).

Does anyone know if WDW usually offers a free dining plan promotion during the spring?

For the past three years, the only free dining has been in the fall and those dates have gotten smaller every year. Spring has too many things going for it...spring break through most of March and April and Easter. You might get a room discount promotion, but not a dining.

Take a look at this chart of discounts released since 2011. Free Dining has not been offered as a public special since 2012 and even the fall free dining dates and number of rooms available have gotten less and less each year:

This may be the last year for it all together. The economy is getting better and offered rooms are getting more and more limited.
