I know Disney the past few years has done free dining in the fall. Does anyone know in the past what those dates are?? And when does Disney usually announce this deal??

We are thinking of going in mid October and I was wondering if we have a chance at free dining or if we should try to go at the end of September???

Can't specifically answer your question but in recent years the USA dates have more or less followed the UK dates and we have free dining for that time of year again for 2012

You can look on Mousesavers for a list of the past discounts over the past 5+ years, along with what the offer was, what date is was released, etc.

we go in august and FD usually is offered by May and i think it covers thru october. but yes do some searching for dates that it covers

Free dining in October is not a given. The free dining offer for late August-September usually comes out anywhere from March to May. October discounts came out in August last year. About half of October was excluded and there were no other discounts offered.

Does anyone have details about the Oct 2011 dates which were excluded for free dining? Mousesavers shows only that Oct 1 - Dec 15 had free dining for the general public (released in Aug), so I thought this entire period was covered.

We're planning to go for one week somewhere between Oct 5-20 during our 2-week school fall break. I noticed that the room only discounts (25% for CSR) were blacked out these two weeks last year. If we don't get free dining, we may stay offsite and pay OOP. But Aug will be a bit late for making arrangements.

1) The UK has free dining dates announced.
2) Canada has dates announced.
3) USA is still in a Lurch.
4) Now, if Morticia could just get him to talk.

Thanks for all this information. Fingers are crossed they offer this deal in early October.

Our bounceback offer was Aug 19th to Sept 27 (we signed up).

Historically I think you are safer with late September as October is often excluded.
