How do people get these?? I have heard some people are getting pin codes or something to get them free Dining in December. We are booked the first week in December...this would REALLY help...

Are they just randomly given out or is there a way to get them???

Am sure this is a common question, but I haven't seen the answer on here recently.

Also, are DVC members eligible for free dining ever?? Just curious.

THANKS in advance.

Discount email pin code offers are random. You just need to make sure you are registered on the disney website. We got a free dining offer last December through our Disney Visa for December 14 - 22. DVC members are not eligiale for free dining ever.

So, further questions on the issue...

We have decided to go for two weeks in December. I light of everyone talking about getting free food through Visa we go the card, but is there only certain times they offer it? Did they already offer for '09?

What if I book and the free food offer comes up...can I get the difference?

Last year Disney Visa holders were offered free dining on select visits in OCt, Nov, Dec...Last year was the first time this was offered. It Has NOT been offered for 2009. Last year DIsney Visa did not offer it till Sept 2008 for trips Oct,Nov, Dec 2008

If they do offer the pin for visa cardholers (I am one), and we already have ressies-can I add the pin to my ressie? even if I do not have dining on my ressie?

If you book on points, the PP is correct, you will not get free dining.

However, being a DVC member does not stop you from booking a general public code and paying rack room rates and getting free dining during the time it is available.

Also, being a DVC member doesn't mean that they won't sent you a PIN either. We are DVC members but opted to use our PIN in December for discounted dining (adults eat and play at kid's prices) instead of using our points.

I know, it would be nice to be able to use our points and get free dining but I guess the way they look at it is they've already got us hooked and reeled in. We're prepaid so we will come back. No extra incentive to get us there.

Actually it has been offered to Disney Visa cardholders for 2009...I got mine in the mail this week for stays on most dates in Oct, Nov and December, except for the holiday weeks. I've already booked, planned, and gotten fantastic ADRs for Sept so I'm not taking advantage of it, but I was a little bummed that I didn't wait for the offer - it'll be so much cooler in November!! :upsidedow

Really? And it wasn't a pin??? I have not gotten this info yet via mail and I checked out the website, nothing.......is there a code you could pass along and I could call Disney?

For people wanting the Free Dining PIN-I believe I got mine from going onto the Disney website and checking out the customized maps.

We just got the pin in the mail from Disney Destinations LLC PO Box 10600Lake Bueana Vista Fl mayby you can wright to them and see offer good till 10/3 free dining for the OCt, Nov and Dec dates, but can't jump for joy this year because of the economy I'm working less the 40 hrs a week so our string of 3 years in a row with free DDP will be broke. Maybe next year but probably won't get the pin. Note we do have the Disney Visa but not sure that had anything to do with getting the pin.

Are you sure it has been offered to Disney Visa cardholders, or was this just a Disney PIN you received via e-mail or snail mail? :confused3 I am a DVC (no, not that one) and have received nothing, nor is there anything posted on the Disney Visa website or anywhere on the Resorts thread, where it would have been mentioned in a heartbeat. I don't think this has been issued to Visa cardholders yet. I think you received a PIN and just happened to also be a cardholder, but they're not related. I do know other people who have received a FD code, but it was a PIN, individual-specific.

I agree. It has not been offered to all Visa cardholders. I did get a postcard but it definitely has a pin code associated with it.

it HAS NOT been offered by Disney Visa for 2009, only from Disney destinations via person specific pincode.

I got one in the mail yesterday. Funny thing is, it came to my office PO Box. I didn't know Disney had this address for me at all. I get all of my other Disney mail at home, so I have to do some more digging to figure out how they found me. (BTW, I got to the phone as fast as I could, and booked for the first week in December at Pop):santa:
