Hello,

I'm trying to talk my husband and kids into heading back to WDW Aug 13-18th to take advantage of this great deal. How did you book it? I assume with this everything is paid up front at the time of booking? Does anyone know the cancellation policy on this? Also, we might invite Grandma, so this would require 2 rooms (3 adults, 2 sort of kids -my children are 17 and 19). I've seen estimates at the values of $470/adult for 5 nights, we're trying to figure out how much more it would cost for the 2 rooms?

Thanks!!

Hmmm, my kids are getting older, guess the excuse that I go to Walt Disney World "for the kids" might not be so believable now!

Hi, I booked our trip on April 3rd-here are the particulars. We are staying 5 nights at Pop Century. 2 adults and 1 child. 1 DAY BASE ticket each (watch out for Trip package (insurance) they include it unless you decline-ours would have been $120) Our cost $631 (including free dining of course)

Paid $200 deposit. Balance due sometime in July. Can cancel with no penalty up to 45 days before. After that, they charge a cancellation fee-depending on when you cancel. $50, $100, or $200(1-3 days out-I think)

It took over 45 minutes to book-the computers were slow, my name didn't come up when she entered it (we were last there in Jan.) and first she figured the cost for 5 day base tickets. When she changed it to a 1 day base, the price actually went up! Comp. glitch. Then it was still highers than the price I figured-It was the $120 protection plan. Once that was removed it was the $631 I figured. Our paperwork has arrived and I'll need to call them-they have our last name mis-spelled-we want it right for our room cards/ticket.

Most resorts only allow 4 guest per room. 5 (with tickets) would require another room or staying at a Deluxe resort. Of course, your kids are adults sized anyway. To figure the cost before you call you can check www.allears.net and figure the resort room price x 2 x nights stayed and tickets (Min. 1 day base ticket) per guest. That'll get close to your cost (don't forget tax) Have a great time!

Hi i had ressies for july 15-22 for wilderness lodge and was paying about 3300 for 2adults 2 kids 10 and 6 woods view and dining plan and 4day base tickets. Had to be paid off by may 31st. I called aaa agent back and changed my dates to aug 13-19 with free dining, plus 5day base tickets and it knocked off 800 so now i owe 198.00. due by june 20th. Now my total is about 2500. for the same deluxe hotel. :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

I booked through Small World Travel, but you can use any Disney-specialist Travel Agent, or any Travel Agent, or Disneyworld.com, or call Disney, or expedia, travelocity, etc...
One adult (because they price by chronological age, not my preferred Disney-maturity age :)) for five nights at Pop with a one day base pass is $506. Subtract the pass and it's $439 for the hotel for the five nights. Five day base passes are $211.94 per adult; adding on hopping brings the price to $254.54. Divide the hotel cost in half: $219.50 plus the ticket = $474.04 per adult. Each additional adult at a value resort is $10 per night, $11.15 with tax. The 17 year old is free in the room, so for the four of you in one room it'll cost $1,512.91 or $373.23 per person.
Adding your mom requires two rooms (giving you two bathrooms!) @ $439 or $878; five passes @ $254.54 or $2,150.70 total, or $430.14 per person. All prices approximate, of course.
You put a deposit of $200 at the time of the reservation - probably for each room if you book two rooms - and the balance is due 45 days before your trip.

OK...5nights at a value. 5 adults, 2 rooms with free dining and a 6day hopper pass for everybody should be about $2130.

I have 2 adults at a value with a 1 day base ticket with dining for 5 days and the cost was $573. The difference in the cost is mostly the park tickets, I only have 1 day and no hopping because I already have a annual pass.

Just put in a request for a price quote from Dreams Unlimited. Dreams Unlimited

You'll get a quick no obligation quote and they even hold the room and quote for you for like 2 weeks.....if you decide you want to book it you just pay them the required deposit. They are wonderful! We used them last year and I would have used them this year if I knew free dining would be back but we booked with AAA so we'd atleast have that discount.

That way you will get the exact figure for your trip and maybe help coax your DH into another trip. Good luck! :wizard:

Just wanted to thank everyone for their tips! Kizmac, I did book through Dreams Unlimited, it worked very well, thank!! I believe we are headed out for Aug 13-18th, can't wait :)

:thumbsup2 We booked through dreams unlimited as well. We love it because they make the restaurant ADR's for you so that saves me time. We're headed 9/9 - 9/16 for 7 nights at the POP for 2 adults & 1 child with 7 nights of park hoppers for about $1300 ! Super good deal with the free dining !

You can book the free dining at the Disney website. Go to the Disney website. On the right hand side you will see Magical Vacations - look for the free dining and click on it. The website is very simple to use.

Sorry I couldn't post the link but the powers that be wouldn't allow me to since I am relatively new to this forum.

Hope this helps. :cool1: :)
